I went to Lagos last night. I made reservations although the restaurant do accept walkins. This restaurant exceeded my expectations. This spot was stunning. It has two levels.I love the decor, it was so luxurious and charming. I love the soft cushion chairs with gold trimming and the gold silverware was stunning. It had one of the biggest bars with 5 to 6 large tvs. The lighting set the mood capturing the beauty and essence of the place. The serve was amazing. From the time I walked in the hosts were warm and friendly. My friend and I choose to sit downstairs. As I sat I was at awe and blown away by the beauty of the restaurant. Our waitress Rawan was fantastic. She was sweet, friendly and really knew the menu and gave excellent recommendations. We ordered two Lychee Martinis from the happy hour menu. The Lychee Martini had house vodka, lychee puree, cream of coconut and elder flower liqueur. In addition to the drinks, I also ordered the beef sliders from the happy hour menu too. The beef sliders came with american cheese, sauteed onions and spicy mayo. The sliders were so delicious. From the caramelized onions and the perfectly cooked cheese burger on a sweet roll. Some of the best beef sliders I have ever had. The first bite was amazing that I wanted to savor every bite. My friend ordered another Lychee Martini while I ordered Lekki Margarita with Coconut flavor. Rawan our waitress, recommended this drink and I see why. It was a decadent, rich and balanced Martini with Tamarind on the rim. So good I ordered another one and my friend joined me too. We were in love with the drinks. We did order more food. I ordered Mac and cheese with crab meat and BBQ wings. The Mac and cheese came in a cast iron pan. That Mac and cheese was cheesy and flavorful. It was cooked perfectly. The wings were good too. My friend ordered Jollof Rice, slow cooked one-pot rice, tomatoes, red bell pepper, scotch bonnet and ginger with Goat meat. The Goat meat was nice and tender. The Jollof Rice was full of bold, spicy, tasteful flavor. She also ordered Calamari which came with red stew aioli, spicy mayo. This restaurant hands down capture the Caribbean but most of all the African favors and spices. I was very impressed with the presentation and execution of the dishes. The managers checked in to make sure how everything was. Overall, the staff was terrific. This restaurant by far has some of the best African food I ever had. I will definitely be back.

was my first time going to Lagos, I had a great experience at this restaurant. The food was very flavorful and delicious, definitely cooked with love. The atmosphere was welcoming and comfortable, making it a great place to relax and enjoy a meal. I had the jollof rice with slow cooked chicken as main course and macaroni and cheese with crabmeat. GREAT also...On top of that, the service was excellent, the staff were friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect. I would definitely recommend this place and would be happy to come back again. Great location, in time square, close to the train station. Its best to make reservation.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5 Stars** I celebrated my birthday at *Lagos Restaurant* in NYC and had the most unforgettable experience! From the moment I arrived, the vibe was perfect the music, the energy, and the live DJ set the tone for a truly special night. A huge thank you to **Sophia**, the amazing host, who went above and beyond to accommodate my group and made sure everything was seamless from start to finish. She was warm, welcoming, and so thoughtful she truly made me feel celebrated on my special day. Our waitress, **Alex**, was phenomenal. She was incredibly attentive, kind, and made sure we had everything we needed without ever having to ask twice. Her service made all the difference and allowed us to fully enjoy the night. And I can't forget **Rodney**, the bouncer, who made sure we felt safe and taken care of. He was professional and respectful, and his presence was reassuring especially when managing the crowd. The food was *exceptionally good* flavorful, fresh, and beautifully presented. Every bite was a hit with my guests. Thank you again to the entire team at Lagos for making my birthday night so special. I’ll definitely be back soon!

I picked Lagos out of the blue and once I told some friends, some knew exactly where I was talking about. First I tried to get a table for 10 online to no avail. So I called and got (host) Maliyah. She put me on hold came back with a yes! I think Jasmine is the 2nd host who helped me over the phone also. Anyway! I went on Saturday the 10th. Had to wait a bit to be seated but they made up for it. Both managers Kat or Kate (sorry if I'm messing your name up Queen) and another one made moves all night to accommodate me after my party dinner hit OVER 10ppl. They were like we got you! The food all of it was delicious! DELICIOUS! OK!! The pineapple drinks could be a little stronger but the drink suga baby or mama made up. Whew! Super strong and sweet! Its good though! I recommend it. The rasta pasta with shrimp OMG. Ate it for 2 days. The atmosphere was just a vibe. I love it and the location of Lagos is perfect. Heart of times square. The DJ played a mixture of all genres of music which was cool. Big TVs to watch the games... A dancer on sticks was so we loved her!! The place is low key a spot to enjoy your surroundings and eat lovely. The food and hospitality is what im sure to return for so look out for Kay soon!!! Thank you all for making my 50th memorable in such a positive way. The host Saturday and all the staff were amazing and cool. I appreciate you all! Don't forget me!

Came here on a whim after the restaurant we were supposed to go to was closed. We ate so glad it was. This restaurant did not disappoint! The service was stellar, the food was DELICIOUS, and they provided individually wrapped floss picks (because they know that goat stew gets good and stuck in your teeth)!!! I even told our waiter the bathroom could use a tidying up and the staff immediately cleaned the restroom. Lagos was an experience. Next time I am in the city I will definitely be back. Lagos Timesquare is in a perfect location. We were easily dropped off by our Lyft. We were welcomed by security, had our licenses scanned and our belongings checked. I made reservations through OpenTable about a week in advance; 9:30pm on a Friday night. Next, we were welcomed by the hostesses with smiles on their faces. We were seated immediately after taking a much needed photo in front of their Lagos symbol. We were seated upstairs. The lights and energy from the guests and music further added to the experience. The seating is tight. I felt like we were sitting on top of other guests, but we had enough space to not hear anyone's conversations. There is a man that walks around taking hookah orders. We did elect to do hookah. It was $60. Due to the space, we had to keep it underneath our table. We ordered the red stew with goat (extra $18), Lagos burger, and 4 drinks. I enjoyed the goat stew. It has a kick to it. The white rice was giving me American white rice. I wasn't feeling it. They did provide a bowl of red stew, so adding that to the rice made it taste better. Fire on the Mountain is served with a flaming lime. Slay Mama was served in a pineapple and it was my favorite drink. We also ordered the Suya margarita and the Sugar Baby. I enjoyed the Sugar Baby. I brought my friend for his birthday. He had an awesome time. The ambiance, music, and service were on point. There is someome that is walking around taking photos. They come in a frame and are $28 per photo. I will note that I think we were overdressed. The website states they adhere to a dress code. Reviews I read on Google also focused on attire. People were dressed down in sweats, pants, Uggs, and sneakers.

The are who they say they are. We had a good time at night and during the day. Theres some feedback I could share about not pigeon holding customers to a bottle just to get a table. Not everyone in my friend group drinks the same type of liquor. The bill will still accumulate to a similar cost. Also the menue gor the bottle say one thing but the bill was 50 bucks higher. Apparently you had to get two bottles in order for that price to hapoen snd thats wack. I think the pushy bottle thing alienated guest that dont have high tolerance or in a place where they don't want to consume that much liquor. But want to have a drink have hookah and be out. Service at night is okey. Confusing at first, server can be short because shes busy. The manager does a good job wrangling customers. Food is very good. We would come back
